So there I was, chatting with several Borg creators when someone typoed and said "start he-jam". I asked if that was a He-Man centric game jam or if it was infact a Gay AF jam. Then I realized how much I wanted that to be a thing. So, with no further ado welcome to...
Queer Borg is a 1 month game jam that welcomes any and all queer game content featured around MÖRK BORG. So that means we're looking for:
- Art
- Lore
- Adventures
- Monsters
- Locations
- Tables
- Weapons
- Armor
We want it all, and we want it to kick ass. We also hope to reach out to our favorite creators and offer payment for print rights of their submission so that we, (MADNESS HEART GAMES) can release PRIDE BORG during June 2025, bringing together a full-color full-length zine of Queer Mork Borgy goodness! So get your bright rainbow colored crayons and glitter sticks out and let's have it!
FURTHERMORE as was suggested by Getaro, profits from PRIDE BORG will be donated evenly between The Trevor Project and A4TE.
This call is inclusive to ALL content creators, we want the full length LGBTQAI+ rainbow, we'll also accept risque and down-right adult content, gore, ultra-violence. That said there are a few rules and regulations to keep in mind.
- Absolutely no bigotry will be tolerated
- No hate speech
- No nude photos of actual people
- Art should be closer to the ArtPunk of Mork Borg than anime/cartoonish
- All art must either be original OR public domain
- ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING AI GENERATED CONTENT
- We would PREFER any submissions be created for this Jam DURING this Jam, but that is not a hard or fast rule. Just a suggestion
- All submissions should have the Mork Borg legal text on the page
