Nice platformer! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the Rainbow Game Jam 2017 games, if you’d like to take a look :)
hey nice work for a short jam! i also had issues with invisible collisions in the levels with the falling triangles and with the moving spikes. i think the progression of the levels is solid but the first level with the spikes is a little punishing with how the collision detection is for the spikes. just a personal thought but i might also add that playing this game without any context i might not have guessed it was for a jam about celebrating and promoting diversity haha.
Very fun. Nice art too. Good job!
Nice game! Colour introduction was done well into the game. As others have mentioned - W key for space and had the same collision issue. Maybe increase the timer of some of the levels later on as not all levels will take 10 seconds to get through. Great starting point for a game. Well done!
That was a great game, however I'd wish that "w" was used as a "jump" button instead of space (it's a bit more common I think ?), and see more abilities. It was a short game but a fun one ! :)
Thanks for the reply! Really appreciated it. I will be sure to add "W" as a Jump key in the next patch.
I like the bite-sized levels. Reduces frustration in the face of repeated death :) The super jump ability felt super natural, I thought it was introduced really well. Nice job. I also ran into the same collision bug.
Sweet! Thanks for the feedback. Follow my profile to get a notification when the game is finished :)
Would like to see more colour abilities, also an explanation of the controls. The level where red is first introduced is an excellent way of teaching what it does. Did not like the invisible blocks on the level with the falling spikes.
Hi, thanks a lot for the feedback, there are no "invisible" blocks on the level where the spikes fall, its just a small bug between the player's collider and the floor's collider. Will be fixed soon.
