VGD Game Jam
Welcome to the Prototyping Game Jam, all students in VGProto will partake in the challenge to show off what they learned and to have some fun! Your theme will be unveiled by your instructor, some campuses may have a different theme then others keep that in mind when playing other games.

What you need to do
1. Design and build a prototype
You are to implement the provided theme into your prototype. This is provided to you
by your instructor

2. Submit the prototype
All submissions should include your team’s name and each member via itch.io – Closes
Friday the 30th at midnight Eastern time.

3. Create and Share
Share a fun gameplay trailer to the discord channel #bragging-rights and keep an eye
out for others doing the same. Remember it is about sharing and building a community.
Stay friendly and share the love, everyone is only a few months in too.

Voting Criteria
Voting is only here to provide a fun and rewarding competition, this does not mean that receiving no votes is a failure. However, it does provide an opportunity to display them on your portfolio.

Vote based on the following:
Concept - How well does it match the theme?
Visual impression - Does the art style suit the game?
Fun factor - Simply put, is it fun to play?
Soundtrack - Does the audio fit the game?
Replayability - Is it compelling and does it have high replay value?
Creativity - How creative and unique is the game?
