MAKE GAMES WITH THE RAT SYSTEM

The Rat System is a simple d6 narrative-focused dice pool mechanic originally developed for HyperMall: Unlimited Violence (which you should check out if you haven't already).

The Rat System is highly flexible and easy to use. 

Stat + Skill forms your Dice Pool. 5-6 on a d6 is a Success; 2+ Successes and you get what you want. 1 Success and you get some of what you want, with a caveat, complication, or cost. No Successes and you suffer the consequences of failure. Crits on 6,6,6.

You deal xd6 damage on attacks, where X is the number Successes on your previous roll. This allows for highly lethal combat (if that's what you want).
