I really enjoyed the vibe of this game - it's relatively barebones compared to some BoB since there are no specific setting elements, but there's so much meat in each character that there's still lots to work with. We modified it a bit to be multi-pantheon and it still worked just fine.
As with all BoB games, it requires a lot more of the narrative load to be carried by the players and a real buy-in to pick up NPCs and put yourself into bad situations, so this game can be heavy both mentally and emotionally. We did end up wrapping a little early for that reason, but the deadline on the sessions meant our last two were thus much tighter paced and more dramatic as a result.
