This is such a smart and relatable game! The simple mechanics are amazingly effective at evoking its themes in a fun way. I wouldn't really have expected to have such a good time with a game about queer breakups, but it really is joyous (as well as wistful and sad, at times).
The Dark Sentencer is fun, funky, and very funny (if you're into funny) - it's a really solid build that relies on your wits and tarot cards to move the plot along. Space prison has never looked so good.
This game wears its inspiration on its sleeve, but that's not a bad thing. Use this game to retell Orpheus and Eurydice, or use it to tell your own story. The final choice is a meaningful one, and I'm amazed at how it's been realized for the players, not just the characters, through a small but potent ritual.
