Retro Horror Jam is a game jam for creating video games using the Retro Horror Template for Unity.

• Create a playable game or demo.
• Use Retro Horror Template asset for Unity. A valid license will be required to be considered for a prize
  
• You can work on an existing game. But please, detail honestly in your submission the work that was done during the jam.
• Market assets are accepted.  Be sure to credit work where credit is due and be honest about it in your submission.
  
• AI usage is accepted. But please, use it in a transformative way.
• Other genres are welcome, not only survival horror games.
• Be Respectful and nice.
  
• Teams of any size are accepted
  
• Have fun!

Best Gameplay: $50 gift card*

This will be awarded based on the uniqueness of puzzles and gameplay systems.

Best Art (Graphics + Audio): $50 gift card*

This will be awarded based on the uniqueness of the art style or audio.

Best Narrative: $50 gift card*

This will be awarded based on the uniqueness of the story and lore.

* Amazon gift cards would be preferred. But other platforms could be considered depending on the winner's country (e.g. Steam gift cards).

No Bitcoin payments will be issued. If there isn't a suitable way of providing a suitable gift card for your country, the prize won't be redeemed.

Some of these prizes might not be given away. Judges can emit void votes if a submission does not have a minimum quality. A game needs to obtain at least 20% of judge votes to classify to these. (there will be some flexibility to this anyway)

The submissions will be played and judged by the RHT Contributors.

RHT developers will also vote on entries and our vote will count double.
