This is your chance to make a retro game or game mockup or asset that is sci-fi themed (or broadly, speculative fiction)! Both "retro" and "sci-fi" may be implemented as very flexible themes used in pretty much any way you like!

For instance, making a game (or game demo) for a fantasy console, or a DOS-style game, or an asset pack of steampunk tiles and sprites, or classic bitmap fonts (which could be used in a sci-fi game) would all be excellent examples.

When voting on the "retro-y character", please also consider extra "retro" appeal for any screenshots included on the itch project page of things like: old versions of software tools or OSs or devices used during development. Also, pictures of the dev wearing a retro hat or something should be acceptable for a little extra "oomph" in the retro category. Have fun with it! Let's celebrate retro!

Anyone can vote, so tell your friends! Votes will judge its retro-ness, its use of the theme (sci-fi), and its gameplay or coolness (assets don't have gameplay, after all).
