What did you revive?
Puff Puff, an older project released a few years ago!

Did you use any modifiers? If so which?
Bare Bones

Skeleton: "This is all skeleton-man's fault!" (ifykyk)

What was your goal? Did you succeed? Any noteworthy lessons?
The primary goal of this project was creating a 3d-platforming character controller that I was happy with, and worked well with other players. After some testing from friends and acquaintances, this appears to be accomplished as far as the time was given in making it for the jam.

Most noteworthy lesson was learning Godot for the first time while making this project. Having worked in Unity for so long and a handful of other engines earlier in my life (I see you, Nova-shell and XNA!) it was fun to pick up a new set of tools, especially when found to be surprisingly intuitive.

Who all worked on your submission?
Me, just me. I did everything.

Did you use any noteworthy assets in your project? If so what?
Everything in this project that wasn't already handled by Godot and its modules (Praise Godot-Jolt!) was made by me. Where in the past I would supplement projects with a few Unity asset packs, I wanted to challenge myself in what I could churn out with the time given from the jam.

Puff Puff's Unplanned Zombie Adventure: A Charming Retro Romp

What A Horrible Night To Have a Puff  is a delightful blend of retro platforming and humor. The game follows Puff Puff's accidental summoning of a zombie army due to a Unity pricing scare. Players guide Puff Puff to the top, dodging zombies and using the help of Gat-Li, a silent fairy with bullet-firing abilities. The game's lore adds a comedic twist, as Puff Puff discovers his friends were unharmed, and Unity had resolved its issues. Now on a mission to dissolve his redundant zombie army, Puff Puff faces resilient undead foes in a whimsical and charming adventure. The 3D platformer art style and soundtrack enhance the retro feel, making it a surprisingly fun romp.

If I had to describe this game, it would be “Scrimbly”. Surprisingly addictive! I’m glad you had a good experience with godot for your first project, I was wondering about checking it out myself since I’ve only worked in Unity.
