Games. Everybody likes playing games, and you like making them. Music. Everybody likes hearing music for chill, even you. The world of games and music can make people fall into new worlds, feel different sensations, join new adventures... What could happen if we mix the best of those worlds into one? Rhythm games! Here is when this Jam starts: your goal is to make a rhythm game! ๐ŸŽต

The second edition of rhythm jam started! and as i promised, a more reasonable theme (although a nuke-themed game would be interessing)

Theme: Where space and time ends

๐Ÿš€ Rules (jams need they) ๐Ÿš€

1 - you can use pre made assets, as long as you credit them and be sure you actually can use them. AI is allowed as well.

2 - you can use any game engine you want, just make the game an executable file. Or you can be hardcore and make a game with raw code... ๐Ÿ’€

3 - work solo or as a team. Just avoid teams with too much people so solo devs can have more chance

4 - JUST. NO. NSFW. If your game is 18+, there are other jams to you...

5 - late submissions (submitting a game after the submittion deadline) is not allowed.

6 - game dont need to be playable in the web, you can make a downloadable game as well. Your game can be for PC, mobile (or preferencially both). But non-digital games arent allowed.

7 - im starting a channel and if you want, i can record your entries and put videos of It on yt. If you dont want, put in the description of your game (in case you dont put nothing i will only ask you permission)

8 - If you want your submission to be recorded, be sure the songs are copyright free for videos pls. NCS, youtube audio library, or some other popular stuff that i will notice easily how to use the musics :D

9 - you can make your OST for the game, but this can add more scope to your game. You dont want scope creep in a jam lol

10 - alternatively, you can use songs made by other people in the game, but this can also lead to hard copyright issues. You must be sure you can use the songs into the game

โš ๏ธ Warning: the jam and its owner dont track responsability over copyrighted material in the games. The games belong to their authors, and in case of copyright infringment, the owner of the game is the responsable โš ๏ธ

๐Ÿ… Voting rules: ๐Ÿ…

- you will just be able to vote on other games if you submitted one.

- there are some criteria:

1 - OST (how good the songs are)

2 - gameplay (how good the gameplay is)

3 - visuals (how good the visuals are)

4 - charts/levels (how good designed the charts or levels are)

5 - innovation (how different from the other rhythm games your one is)

6 - theme (how good the game gets on the theme)

7 - overall (how good your game is based on everything)

๐Ÿ’ฐ Prizes? ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Perhaps. Im working on it but perhaps the one to get a first place will recive as prize a key for a cool rhythm game! (game is not mine and i dont know how prize systems work in jams so is just perhaps). Also, in any case, you also have the pleasure to be number 1 :D

After the jam ends (after the voting time finish), you will be allowed to make whatever you want with the game, perhaps even finishing it and transforming into a serious project, or just put it into trash. But no editing is allowed between the submission deadline and the end of the jam.
