As Hans Christian Andersen said, "where words fail, music speaks"... whatever that means!

For the May 2023 game jam, I'm asking participants to craft a game that uses the developer's favorite song as the vehicle! Choose a song you love, take the lyrics, melodies, whatever you want, and use it as inspiration for your project! Games will be showcased LIVE directly following a listening of the song picked! Feel free to experiment with whatever tools you'd like.

Rules are simple, submit your game by May 29, and include a link to your song with your submission. Try to keep your project to under an hour, and don't stress too hard. Please don't include explicitly copyrighted songs in your game files. Try to learn something new, and share your experiences with us during the live showcase on May 30 at twitch.tv/riggy2k3!

The theme of the jam came from the song "Righteous Jams" by Righteous Jams (seriously) as well as my collegiate background surrounded by performance musicians. I would always enjoy seeing my friends performing music that means a lot to them and putting themselves out there. I think that experience was always synonymous with what we do in these jams!
