Welcome to the 7th Roguelike jam!
Create  a Roguelike game in two weeks.

The main theme is:
Beauty is in the unknown
And the optional bonus theme is:
Deception

There will be an optional bonus theme aswell as the required base theme!
Remember when rating the games that the "theme" criteria only refers to the base theme of the jam and not the optional one, the optional theme will be revealed at the same time as the regular theme!

Roguelike usually means you start with nothing and become stronger over the course of the game but when you die you restart the game.
There are some other trends among Roguelikes which aren't required for the jam, such as procedural generation.

Roguelites are very similar to Roguelikes except the fact that the player can unlock things for later runs, both Roguelites and roguelikes are accepted for the game jam!
2d, 3d, text-based and whatever else you manage to make is allowed in the jam!

Teaming is allowed and encouraged!

No NSFW, meaning no sexual content but gore is allowed.
No AI generated resources is acceptable in this jam (You shouldn't do that in general).

The games will be voted on by anyone who wants to and will be rated on:

Fun - how enjoyable the game is to play.
Innovation - how unique the game is.
Replayability - how replayable the game is.
Audio - how good the sound is.
Visuals - how good the art, effects, models,  etc. are.
Theme - how in line with the theme the game is.
