SUMMER SPLASH 24 GAME JAM

With the heat blazing and the oceans waving it's time for RPG in a Box developers to make a big splash in this sun-sational summer-themed game jam! Starting on DATE1 and going until DATE2 (X days) you will have a chance to dip your toes into the ocean that is game development by going back to the basics. 

This jam will be accessible to both veterans and new users alike. The judging categories will be based on basic, built-in functions that are included in the RPG in a Box software:

• Dialogue
• Quests
• UI Theme
• Main Menu
• Items
• Armor/Weapons
• Enemies
• Skills/Status Effects

Whether you are a veteran who has been surfing the waves of game design for years or a developer who just started you will be able to participate in this RPG in a Box-only jam. 

RULES

• No NSFW (Cursing, nudity, gore, blood, racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, etc). This is the most important rule and the judges of the jam have the final say.
  • You can have violence, such as combat or fighting, but not gore

• Your finished (exported) project must be made with the RPG in a Box engine.
  • Your project can include newly created assets that were made in other programs like MagicaVoxel, BlockBench, Audacity etc.

• Do not include copyrighted sounds, music, graphics, and other media that you do not own a license for.
  • You can still use royalty-free sound effects/music/graphics that you have paid for.
