To be announced.

Who can enter?

  • Anyone who is cool, for this jam we wanted to invite collaboration so we have an additional twist to your teams.

Team rules

This game jam has a quirky twist to it as in we want first and second years to collab as much as possible. This means that your team composition must abide by at least one of the following rules:

  • There are at least 2 majors present in your team.
  • There are at least 2 years present in your team.
  • In the case that you are entering solo, these rules do not apply,  go crazy!

What can I use to make my game?

  • Submissions are compiled games, so use whatever you like to make the game.
  • Highly recommend using an engine you are already comfortable with, such as unity or Godot, but don’t feel limited. Use whatever!
  • The game must run on PC and cannot be VR, since not all the judges have headsets.
  • Try not to use Unreal as game files can quickly explode above the itch.io upload limit.

Team composition

  • No limit to team size.
  • You may participate in as many teams as you like, so long as you are officially listed among the team members. We recommend only working on one submission, but you do you, dude!
  • One person per team must submit the project.  Every project can have only one submitter with the rest of the team listed as contributors to the project.

Who can vote?

  • Anyone can vote on any projects!

Rules

  • There are teachers and professionals who can see your games and ideally the work created here can be used for portfolios, so just be sensible.
  • No undermining or harassing your competition please.
  • this is supposed to be fun for everyone and just completing the jam is already a success and something you can put on your portfolio.
  • You are allowed to use assets from online, but if they are not CC0 then they must be changed enough from the original that we cannot immediately tell where the asset is from.
  • No NSFW
  • No hateful content.
    • This includes targeting minorities, racism, sexism, Misogyny, basically anything that undermines and/or casts an intentionally bad light on a group of people.
  • no VR
    • Not everyone  owns a VR headset so we cannot fairly judge your game.
