Assembling a collection of short adventuring locations based on classic literature.

Submissions must:

  • Be an adventure module (not a new system) for adventuring TTRPGs (specifically old-school games and their modern indie cousins).
  • Be two to eight A5 pages long.
  • Be based on a work of classic (a flexible definition of classic) literature. We're aiming for literary fiction and genre fiction that transcends its cult following into the mainstream. In short, if it is nonfiction, YA, or was published last year, it doesn't count.
  • Not break any copyright laws (I'm not a lawyer, use your own judgment here).
  • Be open to feedback from the other designers. One (stretch) goal of this jam is to be able to assemble a few of these into a little Zine that people might use. As a result, everyone should welcome concrete and fair feedback their submitted works (especially feedback about usability and layout).
  • Be cool.

Here is an example of a little dungeon I made based on Kafka's The Trial as an example: https://notsupposedtogetjigs.itch.io/judgment-in-the-lower-courts.

Note that this example is in letter, rather than A5 so it wouldn't count according to the jam's rules^
