Really nice looking game!
I have to say that sounds are a little too high for me but aside from that they match perfectly.
The movement was good but I keep being pushed on random directions by invisible forces I asume are from being hit, I think the knockback is staking somehow making the movement a little hard sometimes.
Mechanics are cool and I can see you know what you are doing when working on the guns, really sweet!
As others said there is too much happening on the screen sometimes with all the enemies and bullets, maybe you can make the player bullets and enemies bullets different or oposite colours so you can keep a better track of them.
Really fun to play and really well done! Keep the good work man! ;D
Really cool game, awesome graphics - i do think there might be too much going on at once making it hard to pick up, very nice :D
Thank you!
I agree with you, especially in late-game - I would've needed a bit more time invested into playtesting to better tune the spawning ratio of enemies, especially past the 3rd boss, when things go havoc!
The graphics are made in very pleasant colors, as well as good gameplay
I overall really like the game. Although I do feel like the aiming is a little unresponsive. Especially when the game starts lagging. Other then the aiming it does feel like you are just kind of going in a circle to shoot into a giant amorphous glob of enemies. so maybe expanding on the AI to be less likely to get corralled might be nice.
Thanks!
And I agree, the rotation of the player can feel sluggish sometimes (especially with some weapons, such as the Sniper Rifle). For an arcade-ish game like this, probably instant rotation would've been a better choice compared to the 'smooth' rotation I went with in the final build of the game.
Loved the visuals
nice gameplay mang
