  • The platforming elements of this game are pretty underdeveloped. The jump feels WAY too fast on both the rise and the fall, I found myself constantly slipping through walls, and constantly falling through platforms. To be honest, this game is only half playable if you do everything in your power not to slip through collisions and either cheat the level or fall to the bottom of the screen, stuck there. Also, I didn't really understand the purpose of the two person play. If it was just a race between two players, then there aren't really any elements present to make this exciting. It becomes more of a matter of who starts moving first to take the immediate path to the goal. Alternate paths, a way to mess up your opponent, or traps to kill a player, would all make this experience more fun. However, you also call this a "fireboy and watergirl parody", which would elude to a cooperative experience, rather than a competitive one. However, every level can be beaten by P1 ditching P2 and reaching the goal. There doesn't seem to be a prerequisite for both players to finish (or if there is, it's entirely bugged for me), making this ostensibly not a cooperative experience. All in all, this game has messy controls and I have no idea what the purpose of playing even is. 2/10, could be a good game if these things were fixed, but then it would still only be a 'fireboy and watergirl parody (clone)' with worse graphics.
