Scratchers! Welcome to Scratch Game Jam #19.
Scratch Game Jam is typically a 14-day-long Scratch game development jam that occurs monthly on Itch.io. But this time around, there will be a few twists with one of them being a 5 day extension to that deadline, making it a 19 day long jam.
(20 day jam since the large majority of jammers couldn't access their coding IDE's)

JamTheDev, a Penta-Jammer who has gotten 2nd place in the jam before, so it's safe to say that this jam is in good hands. >:)
HOST SPECIALS:
🎩 Keeping with recent traditions; for Scratch Game Jam 19, you will have a whopping 19 days to make your game!
🎩 All submissions will be hidden until the voting period starts. That way you need to focus more on your game instead of focusing on the other games already submitted!
🎩 There will be theme collections but instead of a final vote, Jammers will vote on the final few themes and the JUDGE will pick the jam theme.
🎩 A few criteria changes! Design and Presentation seemed a lil' similar, so we added them as one single criteria. Also, a returning criteria; Replayability!

Any kind of game is okay! But always remember that it needs to fit the theme.
This is an exclusive engine jam. Only submissions created using the Scratch or Scratch mods, such as Gandi IDE or TurboWarp, will be allowed.
You must upload it as HTML5. Remember to make it playable in the browser. Submissions not including this will be removed. Gandi IDE can help you, and Here is a step-by-step guide for you.
Teams are okay! You can create solo or in a group. Gandi IDE's collaboration feature can help your team.
Only ONE submission from a submitter is allowed to be in the running. To clarify, if you have more than one game submitted (even if they were made for the jam and in the jam time frame) then you are still only allowed ONE submission .
You can use certain assets or code snippets from your previous project, but it is not recommended to copy an entire project directly. Please make sure not to use someone else's project. Remember, the fun of a Game Jam lies in the challenge of creating something new within a limited timeframe.
Any attempt to obtain NG through fraud or other means is not allowed. The team takes these situations seriously. Enjoy Scratch Game Jam.
ONLY GAMES MADE DURING THE JAM PERIOD ARE ALLOWED! ANY GAMES MADE FOR ANOTHER JAM, MADE BEFORE HAND OR HAVE ZERO RELATION WITH THE THEME WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!

★ Enjoyment: How did you like the game?
★ Design/Presentation: Includes many things, like balance, level design, gameplay experience, creativity, etc. And presentation includes things like, Was the game delivered in a good way? How was the consistent aesthetic?
★ Theme: Does this game belong in this jam?
★ Effort: How much effort do you think the developer put on the game?
★ Replayability: How replayable is the game?
