First of all, you wake up in the bathroom not knowing what you should do. Game doesn't tell you anything. I realized I had t get out and once I reached the street, I was confused. I was running around not knowing where I'm supposed to go, that's when I met dear ol' grim reaper(if that's what it is, that's what I think he is). Here comes my 2nd complaint. He is far too easy to escape from. Ever since I went up the stairs I haven't seen him(up until the ending that is). Also, IDK if red on the stairs is supposed to be blood or rust, but whichever it is, there is too much of it. Also controls, they felt unresponsive. The problem is momentum, that's a problem I'm facing in unity, IDK how movement works in unreal, but I guess you also have some sort of rigid-body simulation there, and that it was used here. There is far too much momentum when you release the button, or change direction. Ending is pretty typical. You find someone in bath, and since you started in bath, it's safe to assume it's you, that what you are seeing is some sort of afterlife. Waking up after that leads me to think it's some sort of afterlife/hell like in the series Lucifer, where you get to relive your most painful memory over and over again. That's slightly too common motive in horror games. After all, it was actually a fun experience, and one of the best games I found on itch.io so far. Even tho it's not actually scary as a horror game, there is still a dose of terror. Even tho I escaped the grim reaper, I didn't know that 'till near the end of the game, I was still expecting him to hop around the corner.
