Simple game with decent atmosphere. The collision could be better as I kept getting stuck in the doorways.
Is the only way to find the door that the key correspond to just trial and error?

Very challenging. I like how the limited torch life adds to the stress and sense of dread. Well done.
I couldn't figure out how to close the instructions screen and died while it was still up :(

Ookay, finally got back and got at least through to the two books stage. Pretty fun in its simplicity. That heartbeat is a lot more effective than it has any right to be and the torchlight is a great mechanic to keep things quick. Door collisions, visible locked doors, and maybe some environment decor would all be neat next steps.
