Jam Host (1 edit)

As Naver said, you're doing great for one of your first jam games, let alone one as difficult to pull off as a 3D game. You nail the essence of 3D horror with changing environments, being left in the dark, and being ever-wary of spooky monsters. I think an interesting thing that could be added to a game like this is some puzzles that aren't just finding A to use with B. Good job with this game and I hope your development journey continues to have lots of twists and turns - and spooks!

Thanks for submitting It Rises to the SCREAM EMPIRE jam!

That was pretty good for being your second game ever! Way better than my second game, haha. The graphics were simple but looked nice, and those were some creepy peepers. I do think it could've used some background music. My only real complaint is the flashlight was a bit wonky, it only illuminated like a foot in front of me. But that didn't matter too much because you didn't hide anything in the darkness.

Thanks! The reason the flashlight was SUPER low is that there where supposed to have dynamic encouter. The way I modeled the entity was just not ok with a flashlight. That is why you can't use it in the first level.
