• I think the storytelling and writing is welcoming, and actually got me thinking about my own childhood, parents, and adulthood. I especially liked the mother/gorgon animation! I don’t mind the lo-fi aesthetic, but I don’t like that it keeps shifting style. I think it would work better if it had been one unified style I wish the text was lower on the screen, instead of covering up the art This is a narrative game that relies pretty heavily on music. The music is really cute and does a good job of carrying the feeling of the game. I like the telephone sounds in some of the songs, and how it seems to progress into more modern phones as time goes on. It would be cool if the music in the main screen synced with the color changes in the window The music cut out when i turned 5 and was asked to eat vegetables I wish the music would crossfade more gracefully (split on musical bars) I do think that some songs need a softer intro instead of abruptly starting something that is so bright
• More "Choose Your Own Adventure" than video game, the story is relatable and the music supports the narrative very well. Rough, WIP drawings show promise, but add little to the story.
• A great concept and story, with some beautiful art to accompany. Some improvements could be made by allowing the user to read at their own pace. Letting them click to see the full paragraph, and making sure the paragraph stays on the page when their choices appear. This will help with accessibility for some users, and pacing frustration for others. Well done overall!
