This game is a great premise and it's clear to see a lot of work has been put into it, it's a good entry for Rising Star.
The main thing it suffers from is a lack of playtesting, it feels like you've dedicated a lot of time to implementation and testing your work but not had people unfamiliar with the game play it often enough. It's led to two things, one is that is really badly needs a tutorial, I had to open up a second instance and scroll through the list of configurable inputs to identify what the grapple button was after figuring out where to use it.
The second issue is that the difficulty is almost certainly not where you want it, particularly the grappling, you probably know exactly how to do it yourself so it feels easy to you - this is a common early mistake. In the time I had available it meant I couldn't complete a playthrough of the game.
Your report was great to read and aside from these unfortunate issues that game has a lot of potential, good work!
Very solid & a great use of assets. Definitely one of the most creative adaptations of the original project. The grapple system is a great feature though could benefit from more in-game instruction. Typically something like grapple is a very fluid system, whereas here it's more of a mechanical step-by-step process. Those steps though, all well implemented. Decent if basic AI on the enemies, though more of them would have been good to see. Some slight model glitching when aiming while on the towers.
Overall though, a really good prototype & a great exploration of the core rope swing mechanic.
