  • Contestant: @jummies Assessor: Tristan McGuire / @Draconic_Cowboy Tier: Rising Star Congrats on completing your project! Things that went well: ✧ Creative and well thought out idea. ✧ Nice facial topology and simplistic but effective body topology. ✧ Good effort with the UV unwraps. ✧ Well done on using a rig to make your poses, as this is an advanced skill. Things to consider next time: ✧ Good start to the UVs. To take them to the next level look at straightening out the islands where possible and aligning them with the grid. ✧ As already highlighted in your documentation, in future, allow enough time and research to get the model into engine. ✧ For your final presentation, the thought behind the scene and poses is great. Next time also include some more neutrally posed and well-lit images to show off the character fully. As you are in the Rising Star tier, I hope this feedback can be used to inform how you approach future university projects and I would love to see you take part in the competition again next year! You can find me on the social medias in the link below. Feel free to reach out in the future. All the best! https://draconic-cowboy.carrd.co/ - Tristan, Character Artist at Airship Interactive.
