Things that went well: ✧ It’s great to see that you thought about what existing games influence you and then expanded upon that with further research. ✧ Great use of Marvelous Designer, which is quite an advanced skill. ✧ Really nice final HP model. ✧ Nice work straightening the UVs. ✧ Well done getting the model to the game ready stage and presenting in engine. Things to consider next time: ✧ When referring to your low poly mesh, measure the model in tris rather than quads. (and for the record, 96k tris for a AAA game character is absolutely fine!). ✧ Great start with the low poly mesh. To improve it further, try to space the quads a bit more evenly and avoid any long and thin quads. ✧ To take your UVs to the next level, you can straighten the edges even more on many of the shells. As you are in the Rising Star tier, I hope this feedback can be used to inform how you approach future university projects and I would love to see you take part in the competition again next year!
