Things that went well: ✧ Initial concepting and development. ✧ Nice job attempting hair cards, as this is a high level skill. ✧ Differing material definition in the high poly works well. Things to consider next time: ✧ Because you chose to use an existing basemesh with UVs for your project, we can’t judge your facial retopology and UV unwrapping skills. So even though it is true that the technique you chose is sometimes used in industry, as many characters do require bespoke topology and UVs, just make sure you also showcase those skills elsewhere in your portfolio. ✧ The tri density on the shoes could be lowered to be more in line with that of the lower legs. ✧ When UV unwrapping, try to make the islands as straight and aligned to the grid as possible, as this allows you to pack them into the square more efficiently.
