- Hi Rushat! You’re off to a great start with this character and I like the design you’ve put together to meet the Valorant style. To push the stylisation further, I would recommend pushing the basemesh to match the proportions of existing Valorant characters, you may notice that their legs are quite exaggerated. A solid base is the foundation of any character, and making sure that this includes all the gesture, balance and form you’d like is key to ensuring that your character maintains the target style. I would have liked to see more evaluation and discussion of your process in your documentation, without this information the assessing team are left to assume why you have made some of your decisions. For example the topology, I’m not sure if this is because you were out of time - but for a game setting like Valorant, this character is too high poly and does not have the correct deformation topology in place to support animation. The face topology is good, but I would have liked to see the same treatment applied to the rest of the character too - especially the hands, arms and legs. I’d recommend having a watch on how the overwatch team design and model their characters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRZtVXpAokc Best of luck for the future Rushat, looking forward to what you create next!
