- Hi Sophie! Well done for submitting your scene in time! Considering that you've only been at Falmouth Uni for a few months you've done a great job :) There's still a bits to improve on but it's great to see how passionate you are about 3D as it does show in your work. With your research and development its good to see you gathering in world reference! Next time always do some more research into small details, textures and sculpts to have on your pureref. These will be very beneficial in both the short and long term if you ever need to pull on collected references for a future project. Its great seeing you test out a lot of your scale/composition/lighting in Unreal early on, keep it! Megascans is an amazing feature to UE5, so do keep exploring it, but next time try avoiding using them too much. I care more about your own work! Your final models have great silhouettes, and you can tell you have a good understanding of shape with good use of your references. You're very much still at the beginning of your 3D journey, just keep practicing and keep going. I think you've ended up just using your Zbrush models in the UE5 scene which isn't very optimised so look into the baking workflow in Substance Painter. UVs are also an important part of texturing so definitely look into how to unwrap models efficiently in Maya :) Good luck on your 3D journey! <3
