  • Hi Connor, Research + Development -you need to do specific research for each individual pieces. -researches on materials, wood, stone and trunk. -on lighting ambiances. Technical / Workflow -be careful about the polygonal aspect on your rounded surfaces, add more faces and smooth the normals - be careful about making things too thick like the ropes on those light. They should be chains too. - try so normal backing - try normal decals / trim sheet Creative Development - Make sure the style remains the same everywhere. The wall is stylized, the props are semi realistic, the fruits are realistic. This is a big industry no no. - make sure to have good bevels that define materials on your scene. The wood beams for instance look like they've been laser cut. experiment to see what felling you can get with what bevel length. Final Presentation good effort on the presentation, you can simplify the camera movements. They are a bit crazy, less is more. Simpler pans would help. Wireframe and greyscale would be appreciated. Project Documentation maybe there is a bug, when I'm downloading the file I get another person's project pdf. I cannot judge it. Alexandre Quintin - senior hard surface artist - vfx industry
