• Assessor: Anthony O Donnell - Art Director @d3t Submission: Tam 'O' Shanter I really enjoyed looking at this piece and found the strong inspiration from theatre to be refreshing. It was really good to see sketch work being used in the ideation / planning stages. Research carried out in terms of reference imagery clearly informed the final result. Overall the scene is let down by technical points such as repeating elements within tiling textures and some inconsistent texel density within the scene. The above aside it's a very creative piece that worked out well in the end achieving the intended goal of representing the mood and look of a stage being prepped for opening night. In time the technical side can be learned and experience will allow for greater control of the assets / final image quality.
