  • Well done on pulling together a coherent scene in such a short space of time! It's great to see use of multiple light sources, work on a flag tutorial and flame FX. The scene is well assembled with trees framing the view and grass tufts that bed-in the logs on the ground. I would however comment on the quality of the assets such as the tent and fire side stones as not being of a high enough quality. Whilst this entrant is clearly capable of dressing a scene, more focus is needed on asset creation (modelling/UV/material) skills.
  • Great thought process for someone so early in their learning. Documentation very thorough. Good work making a blockout and testing it and constantly refining. Learning Substance and improving your UVing skills will unlock you even further - look also into hardsurface modelling and sculpting either in Blender or ZBrush. Something to work on would be cohesiveness of your modelling texturing - the tent stands out a lot as being less defined, and ideally we want every asset in the scene to have equal treatment. Best of luck.
  • The composition of the scene itself is working. You should add more atmospheric, play with the fog to layer the forest. A moon doesn't bring full black environment. Try to tick to PBR for your texture and keep a good texel ratio. Currently the trees, the ground, are looking too low resolution and somehow they look oily/wet when the rest of the environment isn't. Focus on improving your assets and you will get a better scene.
