  • It's a very moody and dark scene that would look good in any game. I would have preferred to have seen some modeled assets.
  • There's a lot of really technical stuff going on here, including the use of photogrammetry, Houdini and Speedtree, and more complex engine features like RVTs, it's a real shame that we can't actually see any of it because there are no attached project files. Saying that, with the photogrammetry assets you do need to do some reconstruction if there is data missing and the walls in particular needed some blank spaces sculpting in properly. The final piece is very dark and could really use some atmospheric fog to separate the ruins from the background.
  • I couldn't access to the scene, google link is private. In general the scene looks nice; I would boost the exposure, it looks overall underexposed (even if it's night, your eye and camera should expose better the elements).
  • This is a really great piece that shows exceptional technical knowledge as well as an effectiveness in a variety of techniques. Solid understanding of a variety of industry practices that produce really nice results, namely the various photogrammetry assets. The main thing to point out for me is the focal object, which I appreciate is something you ran out of time on in your production diary. I would really like to see a better focal object that is more interesting; all your photogrammetry stuff sticks out a lot more both in terms of quality but also the final rendering, and it would've been cool to see a more convincing and engaging centrepiece which matches the quality of everything else in the scene. It just would've taken this to the next level if all this great photogrammetry stuff was complimentary to an exciting central subject. I would suggest in future prioritising more time on the focal object and maybe even sacrifice a couple of the smaller photogrammetry assets. Overall, really great piece, super excited to see what you make going forward!
