  • Hi Seung-Jin! Theres some really technical stuff going on in this piece! Its really great to see. I think the design of the space and the way it is lit is really effective and considered. It really captures that country town castle grounds vibe nicely. The time of day change and some of the shader setups like the water and translucent fabrics are nice touches and I can see you've used a lot of software and techniques for areas like the terrain and texture setup. I think maybe some extra polys could have gone into some of the meshes in your scene to really help push the visuals. You have some really nice lighting and with a bit more silhouette definition and beveled edges on some of these assets it would really help catch the lighting. Really nice work.
  • There's quite a lot going on here but unfortunately a lot of it is outside the 30x30x30 bounds specified by the brief - this wasn't just about the playable area fitting within that space, the whole scene had to fit inside that apart from skyboxes and generalised background elements. The castle wall and the castle are fully out of bounds according to your map. The lighting is quite nice, espeically at night, and the scene looks good in the screenshots. However the geometry is a little basic and texturing is applied quite basically - there is no attention paid on the castle for example to the different contruction that you'd see around windows and corners etc. I also think the normal map for the stones is upside down. Some good techniques but the brief must be adhered to and I feel you over-scoped and didn't have time to give things the individual attention they needed.
