- This was good, you should be proud of what you achieved. Some general comments: - With a project like this, the best thing to often do is, aim to create a small polished vertical slice of the type of game you'd like to make (flow of the game, objectives for the player, etc.). Once you have that done, then you can add and build upon that, adding new features. Make sure to be honest with the time that you have and what you think you'll be able to achieve. Then during the Production phase, don't be afraid to stop and evaluate your plan and whether its still achievable. - In your production document you listed the various phases, don't forget about the bug fixing phase. You may fix issues as you spot them, so might not think its that important; however its just as important as the others, as it helps you achieve a polished game, and there are some issues that might not appear until everything is done. - Balancing is a very difficult part of game development, but there are some "easy" wins. For example adding a difficulty option which changes some levers in your game (enemy damage, obstacle speed, etc.) can often be quite "quick" to do, but adds a lot to your game. - Also think about some kind of map, whether its static or fog of war. Maze's are on their own a challenge, but having enemies and obstacles adds a lot to it, and it can be difficult to track your progress. Like I said, you should be proud with what you were able to achieve!
