- For a project like this, at the start, it can be good to plan and create a vertical slice of the game you'd like to make (in this case create 3 levels and a boss). Then once the basics of the game is done, you can add the extra features and polish to it to expand and build upon that base game you made. Then, if whilst you're working on it, you realize you won't have enough time to do everything, don't be afraid to stop and reevaluate your game and remaining time. If you don't have enough time to add the boss, think if there's a way you can take what you have it and adjust it, i.e. infinite random levels where there are more enemies with more damage. This was good though, and you should be proud of what you were able to accomplish.
