  • Good execution overall. It would be nice to have something more apart from the weapon progression (e.g. unlockable rooms) and also the sound and SFX could be improved. The animations were OK but could be improved to match the movement of the character but did not cause any game breaking issues. There could have been an alternative control scheme where the movement was relative to the character's direction.
  • This was good, you should be proud of what you were able to achieve. Some general notes: - Look into polishing/tuning some of the gameplay elements (movement, AI). In Game Programming with have the 3C's (Character, Controls, Camera). These are very important to balance and adjust until they're right, otherwise the gameplay can feel off. - Look at adding a High Score system. It can usually be quick to do a basic system (local score), but can add a lot of replayability to the game. Like I said this was good, you should be happy with what you were able to accomplish.
