- This was good, you should be proud of what you made. Some general notes: - Its good to have a concrete plan of how much time you have and how long you think each thing will take. Assigning a slot of tasks to a day and working until you've done everything might have worked short scale this time, but wouldn't work on a long term project. Just something to be careful of. - Make sure you have time allocated at the end of play testing/bug fixing to test your game and make sure everything is working correctly. - Look at adding some difficulty options to your game where they adjust different levers in your game (i.e. battery decay speed). - Look at adding a tutorial/objective so the player has a clear idea of what they are doing. Its amazing that you added Accessibility options, just some things to be mindful of (these comments didn't affect the rating, just some tips): - Its great that you added the option to change the colour/size of the text, but try putting these options in a separate/normal menu (if you find the text too small, you'll struggle to read the menu to increase the size). - Don't have just confirm with the options, also have revert (in case you change a colour to a worse value). - The text speed has a massive impact on difficulty of the game, with a slow text speed, you get about 2 actions before the battery runs out. Change the battery time to not include waiting for the screen. But like I said, this was good and you should be proud of what you made.
- Very good overall effort and implementation. There were a few bugs that took away part of the experience for me. On a balancing note, I think that this game has tile-based movement, the battery should drain on a per-action basis instead of an amount every second (or a combination of the two). Also, the menus take too long to navigate and that affects the gameplay feel after a while. I liked the customization options though and the originality.
