• Hi, this piece is unfinished, so it's a bit hard to give proper feedback. No documentation was submitted as well, so it's impossible to see what you were trying to accomplish. More renders for presentation were needed as well. General feedback: - Spend much more time learning anatomy, especially anatomy of the face. The character does not have believable anatomy. - Spend some time learning proper baking flows. You have seams literally everywhere over the character, you need to smooth your low poly normals before baking. There are many tutorials on this, practice creating and baking simple objects, like small props, before moving onto larger objects or characters. - Learn how cloth works, really study it. The cloth on the character needs a lot of work, especially the collar of the shirt. Make sure to gather as much reference of cloth as you can before starting any sculpting or simulation. Also, no object in the real world is infinitely thin, so make sure cloth has actual thickness (the collar, vest, belt, etc)
• Doesnt seem to have any accompanying documentation or research? Character is okay I think it just suffers from not having a cohesive/grounded design - the design just seems a mishmash between pirate and scifi. Unecessary amount of textures but tri count is good. Be careful to have correct smoothing groups set up when baking :)
• A nice looking character, which I feel needs more practise on texturing and sculpting to get to that mark you wish to be at. But lovely non the less. Sorry I cant help you more but without supporting documentation I cant see where to guide you. Just keep practising!
