ROBOT ENJOYERS, UNITE!!!

This is a jam about robots that will be running from May 1st to July 31th 2025!

For those who know, 2025 is truly the year for robot enthusiasts... This jam is for everyone who ever thought "hey, I want to befriend/smooch a robot..." and had a hard time find games about it... Your days of solitude are over!!!

In here, we are aiming to create an enviroment for sharing and creating robot-centered games! Let your eletric desires go loose and sparks fly!!

WHAT IS A ROBOT?

In simple terms, it's a machine or a computer program (it can be both combined, too). More specifically, they can divided like this:

• Robot: a machine that can have any shape (for example, a cleaning machine that's just a box on wheels is a robot) 
• Cyborg: partially organic, partially machine creature 
• Android: like a robot, but specifically in a humanoid shape 
• Gynoid: rarer term that refers to androids shaped as women
• Mecha: a machine which is piloted from its inside

The jam isn't only limited to these divisions, however. If you find another type of robot and feel like exploring it in a story, go wild! But please have in mind the theme and the rules of the jam.

Now... what do you need to have in mind when you submit your game? Here are the RULES:

• Your game MUST have at least ONE fully robotic character (not a cyborg, for example), be it the protagonist or a plot relevant character.
• Your game must be a visual novel, kinect novel or an interactive fiction.
• You can work on your game before the start of the jam, or use the jam to finish a work-in-progress project. 
• You can also submit a previously finished game to the jam! The idea is to gather as many robot-centered games as possible.
• Incomplete entries (demos or vertical slices) are allowed!
• NSFW is allowed but must be tagged properly!
• If your game has mature content, it needs to have content warnings.
• You can submit your game to other jams, if you'd like.
• Spam or hateful content will not be accepted.
• Fan projects are allowed but cannot be commercial!
• This can be a jam about robots, but AI generated assets or writing will disqualify you. (You're human. Use your brain <3)
