  • 10/10 theme use, making a whole in-game corruptor for this is insanely dedicated. Great execution.
  • Hey! This was a really creative puzzle platformer! Loved the idea and it would be a cool concept to expand upon, if you so wished! Thanks for submitting!

How does your submission fit the jam's theme?
The game is based around using a program similar to RealTimeCorruptor to corrupt a game. Also the ending of the game involves your (in-game) computer becoming corrupted.

Update: I was notified of a bug that prevented the player from completing levels and would require reloading the entire game. I took the time to fix that as well as another minor bug.

  • Fixed (hopefully) a game-breaking bug where the player could not complete the level after loading a state sometimes.
  • Added a safety feature in case this bug was not fixed entirely: hold M for 5 seconds to skip to the next level if you still encounter this bug.
  • Fixed a small bug where the GamerChat window's username would not update correctly.

This was really cool and well done. A great concept for a game. I think one thing that would make it a bit easier to work with is to maybe have instant feedback for what a corruption index does, instead of having to get to like 5000 or so before you see any effect happening, and  maybe a count of how corrupted index is. I dont know the tool you were basing this off of at all so maybe someone who knows it will understand how its supposed to work off the bat.

Anyway  I had a fun messing around with it

Edit:

Just beat it!
