I wasnt really sure what I was doing, but I did like changing the color of the flower things./ I included it in part 1 of my Skate Jam compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/IN7hsbDcn7k
Thanks! Yes it's a little more awkward than I'd have liked for new players. Maybe I can do some improvements once the jam results are in.
The red lines are supposed to flick up as they represent roughly where your skates would be on the ground. No reason why I can't make them go dead horizontal. Or flick down instead might make them feel more like the actual action, even if it's not strictly accurate. (The blue swipe left/right sometimes gives false positives as well)
I liked the minimalist graphics, gave a nice relaxing feel overall. The controls were a little weird, but once I got used to them, it sort of went with the whole game. You managed to capture some pretty nice movement here.
One thing however, is when you swipe behind the arrow, to move faster, the red line that appears should be straight, but instead comes up at an angle to the left or right of the arrow. This felt a little weird, but didn't detract from the game to much. Could have been a bug though, either way, nice entry :)

@Jupiter
Thanks for playing the game! There are instructions, but apparently I only put them in compete mode, and not relax mode that you played :p
