Welcome to the Skedaddling 10-Hour Game Jam! 

🎮 Get ready for 10 hours of chaotic game-making where your creativity is the key to making the silliest game possible!

The theme will be revealed at 10:00 AM on February 8, and once it’s out, you’ll have 10 hours to create a game that fits it. Get ready to create something completely off the wall! 💡

Important Details:

• Theme Reveal: The theme will be announced at 10:00 AM on February 8. You’ll have 10 hours to create your game after the theme is revealed! ⏰
• Game Length: The game can be anywhere from 5 to 50 minutes of gameplay from start to finish. Please do not make your game longer than 1 hour, unless it’s a game that can be played infinitely without actually reaching the end. ⏳
• Solo or Team: You can work alone or in teams of up to 4 people. 👥
• Asset Rules: All assets should be created during the jam. You can use open-source assets available for game jams, but most of your work must be done during the jam. 🖥️🎨
• Platforms: Games MUST BE uploaded as a web build. 🌐💻
• Submission Deadline: All games must be submitted by 8:00 PM on February 8. 🕗

Theme Implementation:

This is the biggest part by far of most game jams. How well does your game fit the theme? If you can’t get the visuals perfect and your game has bugs, PLEASE focus on making sure the primary mechanics work and complement the theme! Even if your game is visually stunning, feels great, and works perfectly, if it doesn’t relate to the theme, it will not win.

Judging Criteria:

Games will be judged on the following:

• Adherence to Theme: How well does your game embrace the theme? Did you add a clever mechanic or change the visuals to fit the theme well? 🏆
• Creativity & Fun: Is your game unique and fun to play? 🎨🎉
• Humor: How silly is the game? 😂
• Polish: Even in 10 hours, how much polish did you put into the design and mechanics? ✨

Prizes & Recognition:

There are no formal prizes, but you will hopefully gain recognition for your creativity and silliness! 🏅
