🚀 What is Space Game Jam? 🚀
Space Game Jam is a week-long game development marathon where we get together to create space-themed games. This is the second edition! Whether you're an experienced developer or new to the game, this is your chance to challenge yourself, collaborate, and release something awesome!
🌌 Theme 🌌
The theme will be provided when the Game Jam starts.
Remember that the theme is an addition to the main theme, which is Space.
💫 Judging Criteria 💫
At the conclusion of the Game Jam, a 7-day voting period will open. Everyone who submitted a game to the Game Jam, as well as any team member added as a contributor on their game's project page, will be able to vote for the Game Jam games.
The criteria are as follows:
- Creativity: Does the game introduce original ideas or mechanics?
- Gameplay: Is the game entertaining, fluid, and well executed?
- Graphics and Aesthetics: Is the visual design appealing and appropriate?
- Sound and Music: Does the audio complement and enhance the gameplay experience?
- Theme: How well does the game fit the proposed theme for the jam?
📜 Rules 📜
- Team Size: Any size, although I personally don't recommend more than 4/5.
- Engine & Tools: Use whatever tools or engines you prefer.
- Resources: I recommend trying to make as much as possible from scratch. But pPre-made resources with proper licenses and credits are allowed.
- Content: Keep it family friendly (no NSFW or offensive content).
- Presentation: Must be playable on at least one platform. I recommend the web, as that's the one people play the most.
- No AI-generated content allowed.
- Be nice to others.
- Create a game based on the provided themes.
If you do not follow any of the rules, the game will be deleted and you will be expelled from the Game Jam.

Remember that Game Jams are about having fun and learning. Get the rest you need and drink water when your body asks for it.

Space Game Jam es una maratón de desarrollo de juegos que dura una semana en la que nos reunimos para crear juegos con temática espacial. ¡Esta es la segunda edición! Tanto si eres alguien experimentado como si eres nuevo en esto, ¡esta es tu oportunidad de ponerte a prueba, colaborar y lanzar algo increíble!

📜 Reglas 📜
- Tamaño del equipo: Cualquier tamaño, aunque personalmente no recomiendo más de 4/5.
- Motor y herramientas: Usa las herramientas o motores que prefieras.
- Recursos: Recomiendo intentar hacer todo lo posible desde cero. Pero se permiten recursos prefabricados con las licencias y los créditos correspondientes.
- Contenido: Mantenlo apto para toda la familia (sin contenido NSFW u ofensivo).
- Presentación: Debe ser jugable en al menos una plataforma. Recomiendo la Web, ya que es la que más juega la gente.
- No se permite contenido generado por IA.
- Sé amable con los demás.
- Crea un juego basado en los temas proporcionados.
Si no sigues alguna de las reglas, el juego será eliminado y tú expulsado de la Game Jam.
