Abbiamo di recente rinnovato front page e forum di IndieVault.it, la community italiana di sviluppatori indipendenti. Per celebrare questo reboot, abbiamo deciso di lanciare una game jam con un tema vagamente legato all'Italia.

La Spaghetti Western Jam!

Lo scopo è creare un gioco ispirato, che faccia riferimento, generato da - o insomma, qualunque verbo creativo vi venga in mente - i grandi film Spaghetti Western* che sono usciti dagli anni '60 in poi. Cavalli? Pistole? Uomini senza nome? ... spaghetti? Cosa vuol dire per voi, Spaghetti Western?

Date

La jam durerà un mese, a partire dalla mattina di venerdì 18 settembre. Avrete un intero mese per caricare il gioco qui su itch.io, fino alla mezzanotte di domenica 18 ottobre. Poi, per due settimane, potrete giocare e votare i giochi... e poi finalmente sapremo chi sono i vincitori!

Regole

Non ci sono grosse regole: basta che facciate un gioco, con qualunque tecnologia e per qualunque piattaforma vogliate. L'unica regola è che deve essere caricato qui prima della mezzanotte del 18 ottobre.

We have recently rebooted the website and forum of IndieVault.it, the Italian community of indie developers. To celebrate this, we have decided to launch a game jam with a loosely Italian theme.

Enter: the Spaghetti Western Jam!

Make a game inspired by, hinting at, generated from - or whatever creative verb you can come up with - the great Spaghetti Western* movies from the '60s onwards. Horses? Guns? Men with no name? ...spaghetti? What does Spaghetti Western mean for you?

Dates

The jam will run for a month from Friday the 18th of September. You'll have one entire month to upload your entry here on itch.io, until the midnight of Sunday 18th of October. Then, we're going to play and review the games for two weeks, at the end of which we will have some winners!

Rules

There are no big rules: just make a game, any technology, any platform! The only rule is that the game needs to be uploaded by midnight of the 18th of October.
