Ghosts and ghouls are the reason for the season and I say they need some loving, too! Thus, the Spicy Pumpkin Jam! Show the world just how much you love the season of spooks and sweets with a horny little game about it!
Halloween if it was horny. Do whatever tickles your sex receptors, and then shove a pumpkin on it's head.
The judging isn't judgmental. Don't worry about how your game ends up being ranked, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you made something, and that's pretty impressive all on its own.
Dicks are great when you're not being one. Keep racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. out of it. I understand that some people fetishize those things, but it's really easy to be more hurtful than horny when you do things like that. Themes about race, gender, sexuality, etc. are fine though.
Mark your game as NSFW if that applies. Unless you made a game that could fly completely unaltered on YouTube, you should mark it so the kids don't show up to your door expecting candy and getting... not that.
Only what you do during the Jam Period counts. If you decide to make a DLC or an update for a game you already made, make it clear what parts of the game apply to the jam, and which don't.
Teamwork makes the dream work, if you don't think you can go it alone. This is for smaller teams of for-fun developers; 5 or 6 people max.
Fuck around, find out what you can do. Feel free to experiment. Art style, game engine, game type. Do whatever you're allowed to upload to Itch.io.
Have fun! If you're running yourself ragged trying to make something super impressive for the number 1 place, you're going about this all wrong. Nobody is going to shame you for bowing out if you're not having any fun.
Theme - How much does this game have to do with Halloween? How horny is it? How well do the two mix?
Gameplay - How good does the game feel to play?
Aesthetic - How good does the game feel to look at?
Story - Did the game have a story? If so, how good was it?
Voting will last for a week after the jam, and anyone who submitted something or collaborated on something can vote on any games submitted.
