I am in love with this game. I was enthralled from the beginning and left thinking about it long after it ended. It's a brilliant concept with an even more brilliant execution. The story is so creative and unique. I love the way it was slowly revealed to me bit by bit until I understood the full extent of what was happening. There were multiple times while playing where I found myself actually saying out loud, "This is so cool!" It's cathartic yet creepy. Cartoonishly absurd yet horrifyingly real. Most importantly, it doesn't suffer from the pacing issues I've seen from similar games. It gives you enough time to become familiar with the characters and care about them, but not enough time to feel slow or boring. My biggest problem with this game however is that it clearly was not proofread. It's littered with typos. Basically every sentence has a typo. Normally I'd be lenient about that kind of thing, but it's to such an extreme extent that it makes it harder to understand and significantly interrupts the flow of the story. It's hard to get immersed in an emotional scene when a character says "shat" instead of "what" for instance. These problems would be very easy to fix and would improve the experience immensely, so I really hope the developer fixes them. I would be happy to point out the mistakes I found if that would be helpful. I really do want this visual novel to be read by more people and get the recognition it deserves. It really is a hidden gem. I played ten visual novels in this game jam and not a single one came at all close to being as good as this one.
