Many people on Itch.io have experienced the feeling of being just a little bit too late to submit a game to a game jam they wanted to participate in, and in the spirit of spring and the age-old tradition of spring cleaning I have created this jam to give anyone who still has an unfinished game collecting cyber-dust the chance to dust off and submit their project to a game jam! Unlike other game jams where a majority of the code must be created during the specified time of the jam, submissions to the Spring Cleaning Jam are encouraged to be made up of scrapped projects and games from before the jam was announced so feel free to use any code or assets that you have the rights to for this jam. Although participants of the jam are free to use previous projects in their submissions, do not feel like it is a requirement to join this jam, anyone may participate whether they are joining this jam to finish an old project or start a new one.

• Teams of any amount of people are allowed and team members must be credited when your game is submitted.
• When submitting a game to the jam you must specify whether this submission was worked on in the past or purely during the time of the jam. (This is mainly for bragging rights and is not required)
• NO amount of discrimination or nsfw content is allowed.
• Any tool or game engine is allowed.
• Modifications and updates to submitted entries can be made until the jam's end date so feel free to submit your project early so you don't accidentally forget to.
• When the jam ends participants will be given 1 week to vote on which submissions they like the best depending on their gameplay and artwork, and submissions will be ranked accordingly after the voting time ends.
