An overall fun and enjoyable experience. Although very short, I appreciate that there were a few ideas that the player could chew on that can definitely apply in the real world despite the fantasy setting, such as the value (or lack thereof) to be gained in establishing and maintaining rivalries, especially in academia.
There were a couple of things that I found detracted a tiny bit of fun from the experience, such as the complete awkward silence in the main menu, or the seemingly abrupt transition back to the menu after reaching an ending. However, these are all just technical issues that could easily be tweaked, so at the end of the day, they really aren't that sirius.
A cute and fun experience. Although a bit simple, the atmosphere of the library and lofty tavern tunes easily put you into the scenario. And Yu's dynamic with Ell'i is endearing and is the heart of the entire game, and it is worth replaying again and again to see all their interactions with each other. With just a few miniscule details I'm invested in not only the characters, but the world itself. I could easily see this game branching out into a full blown visual novel, complete with the vast different locations of the school, as well as other companions for Yu to associate with. "It's Not That Sirius" is a short but great time, one that I hope expands into something greater in the near future.
The best part was when I told her she couldn't sit next to me and the game ended. But I also really like the descriptions and the music!
