Welcome to Survive the Game Jam.

Survive the Game Jam is focused on creating unique and fun survival games in 72 hours.

During Survive the Game Jam you must create a true survival game matching the theme, as well as come up with unique and fun game mechanics.

A 'true' survival game should include some or all of these ideas:

-Resource management

-Health, Hunger, Thirst, Stamina, etc.

-Looting

-Crafting

-Threats (Mobs, or environmental)

These are just guidelines to ensure your game is still a survival game, however try to put your own twist on these things and come up with your own mechanics.

The 72 hours take place over a weekend. 12am Saturday NZST to 12am Tuesday NZST. That is New Zealand Standard Time, if there is any confusion, please use a timezone converter.

The Theme is announced just before the game jam starts.

Use Any Game Engine.

You may use any royalty free assets, as long as you credit where credit is due.

NSFW is not allowed (It may go on YouTube).

No offensive material.

Prizes:

Currently no prizes will be rewarded to the winners, this is just a casual jam for fun.

If any Youtubers or Streamers would like to play the entries for this jam, let me know and I can create a list, for people to find you, and watch you play their games.
