Sacramento Developer Collective would like to present our next Game Jam! As part of our monthly Game Jam series, we present #StoryNotTakenJam for Oct 2020 on #NationalDictionaryDay
National Dictionary Day on October 16th annually commemorates the birthday of Noah Webster.
The only thing you have to do is make a story game! You can use any tools and make anything you want as long as people can play your game! We welcome anyone from any skill level for all SDC game jams. Come have some fun! <3
The spirit of a jam is to make a game by any means necessary, including assets from say the Unity Asset Store, so premade assets are okay, or say if you’re an artist then it would be encouraged to make from scratch or remix your past work or remix art found online and so on for other disciplines.

Never made a game before? Beginners are welcome here :) Sometimes trying something very small (small scope) is exactly what you need! A good way to get started is to follow a tutorial to get a jumpstart, plan the jam ahead of you, then pace yourself to not get burnt out. We've arranged some resources below!
